Description
Lymphoma Foundation of America is the national nonprofit charitable organization devoted solely to helping lymphoma patients and their families. Founded in 1986, LFA provides nurse-counseling, patient support services, referrals to specialists, educational programs, research grants to scientists who are developing new treatments, and travel assistance for lymphoma patients. Lymphoma Foundation of America is listed with the U.S. government’s cancer information hotline, 1-800-4-CANCER, a service of the National Cancer Institute. All programs and services are free.
