Arthritis Foundation

The Arthritis Foundation is the only national not-for-profit organization that supports the more than 100 types of arthritis and related conditions. Founded in 1948, the Arthritis Foundation has multiple service points located throughout the country. The Arthritis Foundation is the largest private, not-for-profit contributor to arthritis research in the world, funding more than $380 million in research grants since 1948. The foundation helps people take control of arthritis by providing public health education; pursuing public policy and legislation; and conducting evidence-based programs to improve the quality of life for those living with arthritis.

Fibromyalgia Network

Fibromyalgia Network is a full-service self-help organization which provides information for patients with fibromyalgia syndrome (FMS) and chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS). A membership with Fibromyalgia Network includes a quarterly FMS/CFS Health Journal with the latest information based on interviews with the experts, reviews of research conferences, and medical journal reports. The Fibromyalgia Network Health Journal also contains self-help articles based on the patient surveys and is reviewed for accuracy by the experts.

National Fibromyalgia Association

The National Fibromyalgia Association (NFA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing FM awareness among the public, media, government and medical communities. Through a variety of outreach programs, NFAC works to ensure that information is being distributed on an on going basis, which will educate, motivate and support efforts to physically and emotional aid people living with FM.

National Fibromyalgia Partnership

The National Fibromyalgia Partnership, Inc (NFP) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, educational organization founded in 1992. The mission of the NFP is to make medically-accurate, quality resource information on fibromyalgia (FM) available to its members, health care professionals, and the community-at-large. Its goal is to provide information that promotes timely and appropriate diagnosis and treatment of fibromyalgia. The NFP is a member-supported organization comprised of patients and their families, health care professionals (clinical and research) and other individuals interested in fibromyalgia.
