Description

The Points of Light Foundation is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization whose mission is to engage more people more effectively in volunteer community service to help solve serious social problems. The Foundation provides products; membership services; training, consultation; technical assistance; networking opportunities; research and advocacy through four major functional areas -- The Points of Light Institute, Local Infrastructure, External Relations and Public Awareness.

The Foundation publishes resources to assist volunteer administrative in developing and strengthening their volunteer programs. A free catalog is available upon request. Serial publications: Volunteer Leadership magazine (quarterly).
