Description

The Hip Society, founded in 1968, is a nonprofit educational organization that provides organized exchange of information about new ideas and techniques in the diagnosis and management of hip problems. It sponsors an annual forum for orthopedic surgeons on advances in knowledge and treatment of hip problems. It has also supported clinical and scientific investigations of hip problems by young orthopedists. All members of the Hip Society are also members of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, but there is no official affiliation between the two groups.

Print Resources

The Society publishes its program annually in Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research.
