Description

The American Holistic Nurses' Association (AHNA) supports the concepts of holism; a state of harmony among body, mind, emotions and spirit within an ever-changing environment. The AHNA serves as a bridge between the traditional medical paradigm and universal complementary and alternative healing practices. The AHNA, a 501(c)(3) non-profit education association, was founded in 1981. The AHNA offers conferences, publications, educational programs, and a support network to holistic nurses. Membership is open to nurses and other individuals interested in holistically-oriented health care practices.
