Description

The Turner Syndrome Society, founded in 1987, is a membership organization whose main goal is to provide individuals and families affected by Turner Syndrome with knowledge, understanding and practical information on how to face a multitude of challenges throughout their lifetime. The mission of the society also includes increasing public knowledge of Turner Syndrome , and working with health care professionals to better the condition through research and the exchange of ideas. The Resource Center provides access to recent articles on the condition, as well as books and videocassettes. Conferences are held on the national, regional and local levels. The Society works with more than 38 affiliated chapters and support groups accross the country.
