Description
Founded in 1992, the Alliance represents the interests and provides support to people affected by Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease and as Motor Neurone Disease (MND), whether those with the disease or family or carers of sufferers; increase awareness of ALS/MND worldwide; provide forum for information exchange and development of ideas on good practice; stimulate and support research; educate health and social care professionals about the disease; provide mutual support among related associations.
