Description
The IRS is the largest agency in the Department of the Treasury, with 102,000 employees and a budget of $7.8 billion. A modernized concept for this agency will focus on the taxpayer's understanding and solving problems from the taxpayer's point of view. The new mission for the agency is to help people comply with the law and ensure fairness of compliance, and its goals will reflect the new focus on taxpayers as customers.
