Description
The Office of International Affairs is responsible for advising the Secretary on policy issues relating to HHS' international dimension; for providing staff support for the Secretary's and Deputy Secretary's involvement in international activities; and for ensuring that policies governing the Department's involvement in foreign affairs, whether developed at the White House, Department of State, Agency for International Development or by the Department itself, are adequately communicated to, and adhered to by, the HHS agencies and staff engaged in international activities.
