Description
NAF was founded in 1977 to make quality services accessible to all women. The Federation has developed professional standards on medical, nursing, counseling, administrative, and ethical aspects of such services and has established evaluation systems based on these standards. Regional seminars and workshops provide training in such areas as counseling, public affairs and political issues, and management. Medical seminars offer continuing medical education credits. A consumer hotline offers information and provides referral services.
