Description
BiodefenseEducation.org is a Biodefense Digital Library and Learning Collaboratory intended to serve as a source of continuing education on biodefense affairs. A part of The University of Iowa's Planning Regional Center of Excellence for Biodefense and Emerging Infectious Diseases, it is funded in part by a grant from the National Institute of Health's National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. The Web site includes a news library that links to biodefense news stories selected daily from over 100 international news sources, a learning collaboratory, offering discussions on numerous issues in biodefense research, education, or patient care, and a reference library, which serves as a biodefense knowledge management system.
